টেক্সটাইল টেস্টিং
টেস্ট শব্দের অর্থ পরীক্ষা আর টেস্টিং শব্দের অর্থ পরীক্ষার উপায় বা পরীক্ষণ । অর্থাৎ বিভিন্ন পদার্থের গুণাবলী নিরুপনের পদ্ধতিকেই টেস্টিং বা পরীক্ষণ বলে । সুতরাং যখন পরীক্ষণের বস্তু বা দ্রব্য হিসেবে কোন টেক্সটাইল পণ্য অর্থাৎ ফাইবার, সুতা ও কাপড়ের গুণাবলী বা এগুলো দ্বারা উৎপাদিত পণ্যের গুণাবলী পরীক্ষণের জন্য নেয়া হয় তখন তাকে টেক্সটাইল টেস্টিং বলা হয় ।
