সেল্ফ শেড :
প্রতিটা কালার ডাই দিয়ে শুধু মাত্র যে রেফারেন্স সেড করা হয় তাকে সেল্ফ সেড।
যেমন ডাইস্টার এর রেমাজল রেড, ইয়োলো, নেভি প্রতিটি ডাই কোন টি কোনোটির সাথে মিক্সিং না করে আলাদাভাবে ডাইং করা হয় একে।
এটি সাধারনত ল্যাবে করা হয়, এর মুল কাজ হচ্ছে ডাইজ এর সেড এর ডেপথ, স্ট্রেনথ, টোন দেখা।
ওভেন ডাইং এর ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিটা ডাইজ এর ৫ গ্রাম, ২০ গ্রাম করে সেল্ফ ডাইজ দিয়ে ডাইং করা হয়।
আর নীট কাপড় এর জন্য
0.01%, 0.1% ,0.5% , 1% ,1.5% , 2% ডাইজ দিয়ে ডাইং করা হয়।
